Photo illustrates MUTCD on APS location with APS separated by at least 10 feet. It shows an intersection with sidewalks, and marked crosswalks, with a large radii and with two APS pushbuttons separated by approximately 20 feet. Each APS is near the crosswalk line, on the side of the intersection furthest from the intersection. The APS on the left was installed on the pole with the pedestrian signal heads. The APS on the right was added via a small stub pole, that looks like a piece of pipe painted yellow and bolted to the sidewalk.
