Vehicle signal standards are covered in Part 4 of the MUTCD. Be aware that some states may have their own supplements to the MUTCD and it is important to be aware of the specific practices of your state. For example, some states allow a right turn on a red arrow, which can be a misleading audial cue for a blind pedestrian.
